You know…Every so often when we are in our own little world wondering what it is that we should do to help others help themselves…IF WE GET LUCKY…a light will go off and we stand there in a sort of amazement. We have thought of something that we see can be of use to others and along the way, we can also see how it will benefit ourselves.

I have been doing the Internet Marketing thing now for 26-weeks and have yet to see any realistic income and have often wondered why. Of course as  beginners there is a very large learning curve to understanding the business of Internet Marketing.

While I was sitting around and going through other students blogs I noticed some things that I thought were common to not just our blogs, but many others that I have run across. That being that there were only a few ways that we were monetizing the blog.I went into Internet Marketing to make money..NOT BLOG ABOUT IT!

I realized that a lot of blog themes come with the monetizing tool of Adsense.Then people will add their selection of clickbank products for additional income, along with some affiliate links to put what they think is the icing on the cake.

What I have realized is that there is another way to GREATLY increase your chances of making an income with a blog by adding additional features to it.We all by now know that we can get PLR/MRR materials for resale for pennies if we know the right places to get them.

Most places want you to pay a monthly membership fee of around $20.00 for 5 new books a month.Maybe more depending on who you choose.But the bottom line is this…

Is it worth buying into a membership and having to build a complete site around an upsell or a one time offer.That’s a lot of work.

Since by now you should know that search engines LOVE blog’s for the new content added, and if you are using article based traffic by writing and submitting articles,like I do, then you know that is a lot of extra work.

So how about this…Instead of giving someone some link from your blog without any information to view but the text of the link.How about offering them a product right from your blog.With pictures and descriptions of your PLR/MRR Product that they can purchase right then and there and you make 100% of the profit.

Well isn’t this what Fathers Day is all about? I love being a Dad and I Love my daughter Arionna to death. I just wanted to share some of our fun times with you all so you can get an idea of how I live and who I am. Here is a couple of videos I took of some times that are precious to me. One of the videos are of me and her at a carnival and the other is her second time riding her bike without training wheels. So please take a look-she’s beautiful-she’s almost 5 – and I am very proud to say she is Daddy’s Little Girl, And shouldn’t all little girls have a proud Dad?

Before we begin, a strong warning!

As with anything, “if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.” Be very wary of ANY business opportunity, online or offline, that requires you to make a large upfront investment. Anyone who tells you that they can make you a lot of money for not much work is playing you for a sucker.

In my opinion, any affiliate program that requires you to pay an upfront fee, or monthly fees (even in return for a “website” made just for you), is deeply, deeply suspect. The good affiliate programs make money by helping you sell their products, not by charging you for the “honor” of doing so.

As you may have guessed, I have strong feelings in this regard;“Become our affiliate, we’ll create your website, and send you $$$!”

Sounds like a great deal, doesn’t it. There are hundreds of “virtual website” affiliate programs out there and unfortunately  I have bad news for you. It isn’t as easy as it looks!

First, some definitions…

Here’s how these systems work. Someone has a product they want to sell, so they set up a website to sell the product. But rather than promote their product in the normal way, they recruit affiliates to do most of the marketing for them.

When you sign up as an affiliate, they provide you with an email address and a “virtual” website. This website is a duplicate of their regular website, except that it is often personalized for each affiliate (say, with your name, address and a photo). Then it’s up to you to promote your virtual website, both offline and online, in the hopes of attracting customers. Any sales you make for them generates a commission for you.

The problem is…

The problem, alas, is that promoting these sites to the search engines and indexes is a waste of time! Consider that your virtual site is almost identical to all the other versions of the site; same text except for your name, same title, same meta tags (if they bother), same text.

So assuming you and the other 10,000 affiliates all manage to get your websites into the search engines, and even assuming that the site ranks highly for a particular keyword search, what do you think the odds are that your copy of the website is going to be the first one listed? That’s right — 10,000 to 1 against. Probably even less, because these days, the search engines look for incoming links to your “website” as a ranking criteria, and you won’t have any.

It gets even worse if the url of your virtual website has a ? in it (eg: http://www.maketonsofmoneyfast.com/?12345, where the 12345 is your affiliate number). Many search engines will not list such urls, because they think (correctly) that they are database generated pages.

And on top of all that, you can forget about getting into the major indexes like Yahoo. If it’s possible for the website to get into them, the promoter will have already done it.

The final nail in the coffin

Google is now using human raters to help eliminate spam from their indexes. Virtual sites, and sites that exist solely to generate affiliate commissions, are classed as “offensive” material. That says it all.

Is it possible make money with affiliate programs?

Yes, but it’s a lot of work. First of all, forget about any program that sets up a website for you, unless it’s free (and even then, it’s almost certainly a waste of time). If they charge you a setup fee, or a monthly fee, run away as fast as you can; chances are very high that this is how they really make their money.

The affiliate programs that work are the ones that (a) have a good product that is reasonably priced, and (b) relate in some way to your existing website. The classic example is the Amazon.com affiliate program, where people list books on their website that are related to their content. What you are doing is making your website more useful to your visitors by recommending good things they are likely to be interested in. For example, this is why I endorse a couple of internet marketing courses on this website.

If you are new to Internet Marketing like I am, then this is a Must Have for us.

Listen to me here! Don’t beat yourself up trying  to come up with some product that has not already been thought of and distributed on the www. You are wasting your time and putting in a lot of effort that is not necessary. You will find that no matter what kind of niche’ you go into promoting that there is plenty of articles and products that you can just grab with FULL Master Resale Rights, and Private Lable Rights for cheap.

I have just finished my first product and put countless hours into the website development for it. (I will leave you a link to it for veiwing later, But this is more important for now!) I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!

When you take a look at the hours you put into research and development of your product, are you really satisfied with the results? I WAS NOT! Most of us just end up with a copycat version of a product that already existed and to be honest, it probably  isn’t any better that the one we tried to copycat. So what’s with that? A HUGE WASTE OF TIME is what is up with that.

I have made my decision to be one of the successful ones at this. I have spent more time at this keyboard in the past 5mos. as a MC student than I have in all of the years I have ever owned a computer. REALLY! I have found out some very interesting truths about marketing on-line.

• It’s not the next new product that makes the difference.It’s the product or service that solves a problem.
• It’s not the product that makes the money(the one that solves the problem). It’s getting exposure to that product.
• It’s not the visually perfect website.It’s the search engine ranking.
• It’s not the GREAT “OTO”. It’s your personalizing of your site.

I said all of that to say this: If you knew what the GURU”S did wouldn’t you do the SAME thing?Why is it that we do not see the very nose on our face? Is it because it is so close?Watch what the TOP INTERNET MARKETERS ARE DOING AND DO THE SAME THING TO GET THE SAME RESULTS>They always use each other to promote products to affiliates or JV’s.   But are you sure that they are THEIR products? With private lable and Master Resale Rights I have found MANY products that have Identical content only to see a different graphics package promoting it. WOW!

What I am saying here is why are we putting so much time into the development of a product that we can get for pennies (actually free once it makes a sale), when the real area to be taking most of our time learning the ins and outs of, is product promotion, SEO and list building.(As that is truly where the money is going to be made)

I could go ON AND ON about how the reality of what the BIG BOYS do, has made itself so clear to me.

LOOK! You don’t have to RE-INVENT THE WHEEL! There are billions of people on the www. with 125.074 added EVERYDAY!

Some of us should have taken John’s advise about PLR and MRR.(I had to find out for myself - lesson LEARNED HERE) Never Again! NO NEED FOR IT!

Here is a simple way to get a product ready to market.

• CHOOSE ONE THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AND PURCHASE IT(must be PLR/MRR)
• DO A KEYWORD SEARCH AND BUY A DOMAIN NAME THAT IS BEING SEARCHED(a lesson I just learned)
• WORK ON PROMOTING THAT PRODUCT(clickbank/affiliate marketing/etc.)
• LEARN HOW TO GET HIGHER SEARCH ENGINE RATINGS(great video on that in the BM members area)
• BUILD YOUR LIST WITH A FREE OFFER! (that’s what the BIG BOYS do)

FINALLY! Go get yourself hooked up with someone who can help you with all of these things in ONE PLACE!

By now I think most people in the world know about blogs.
What most don’t know as there is a great income to be made as well for free.

This should be printed out and put on the wall of every online marketer without a doubt! His book starts off with market research (so that you are making the most of your time) to building your blogging empire. Everything is covered in this new outing that helps bloggers withtodays online issues regarding making the all mighty search engines happy.
Final Verdict: if you are out there in the blogging world and want to make money the easy way then I highly recommend Blogging To The Bank 3.0.

Hello Everyone, I’m sorry for the long break in posting. As you know as a MC student I have been very busy putting together my first project. I know that a lot of others have put in much of their time to get their projects final touches completed. We have all learned quite a bit. I think I might have really been one of the first to have finished as I had my project idea already decided upon and did not have to do a lot of research this time. And my next is an offshoot of this one.
So I have been able to really put some effort into understanding the BM platform. With that said, I have implemented the BM script and now have a live website.
